Grants

LKO, in conjunction with its philanthropic arm, the Educational and Charitable Foundation (“ECF”), awards annual grants to students attending undergraduate and graduate colleges and universities.  In 2018, ECF awarded $40,000 in academic awards to deserving students from our local community.

Lambda Kappa Omega

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Lambda Kappa Omega Chapter was chartered on December 18, 1976 and has grown to a membership of over 150 women dedicated to service in the Fairfax, VA area.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® is the nation's oldest historically Greek lettered organization established for Black women. She was founded on the campus of Howard University on January 15, 1908.
